Your Creator Profile
Your creator page is your public tipping page. Here's what it includes and how to customise it.
Your Page URL
Once registered, your page is live at:
ikofi.co.za/@yourhandleShare this URL on social media, in your bio, on business cards, or anywhere.
Page Sections
Your public page has 6 sections, designed to tell your story and convert visitors into supporters.
1. Hero
The first thing visitors see:
- Handle — Your unique
@handle - Category — Your creative category (art, music, writing, vlogging, etc.)
- Intro — Short tagline (up to 300 characters)
- Social links — Your linked social media accounts
- Avatar — Your profile photo
- Trust strip — Shows "95% CREATOR / 5% iKOFI" so supporters know where their money goes
2. Statement — "What I Do"
Your detailed description of what you do, who you are, and why people should support you. This is where you tell your story.
3. Gallery — "Look at This"
Up to 5 images of your work. Each image can have a caption. This is your portfolio — show people what you create.
4. Events — "Visit Me"
Your upcoming appearances, markets, talks, exhibitions, or other events. Events are shown for the next 6 months.
5. Support — "Buy Me a Coffee"
The tipping section. Supporters can:
- Pick a preset coffee tier
- Enter their own custom amount (minimum R5)
- Click "Continue to Payment" to pay via Paystack
6. Trust Strip
Shows key facts at a glance:
- 95% — Goes to creator
- 5% — iKofi platform fee
- ZAR — South African rands
- ZERO — Supporter account required
Profile Fields

Customising Your Page
Dashboard
Log in to access your dashboard. From there you can:
- Edit your profile (name, handle, bio, intro, category, avatar, social links)
- Upload and manage your gallery
- View earnings and tips received
- Download your Marketing Pack (QR codes, PDFs, social media templates)
- View page views and stats
Changing Your Handle
You can change your handle at any time from your profile settings. Your old URL will stop working — update any links you've shared.
Display Name
By default, your page shows your full name. Toggle "Display as Handle" to show @yourhandle instead.
What Supporters See
When someone visits your page:
- They see your hero section with your handle, category, intro, and avatar
- They scroll to read your "What I Do" statement
- They browse your gallery
- They see your upcoming events
- They pick a coffee tier or enter a custom amount
- They click "Continue to Payment" and pay via Paystack
No account required. No sign-up wall. Just straight-up support.
Tips for a Great Profile
- Write a compelling intro — This is the first thing people read. Make it count.
- Show your work — Upload your best images to the gallery. Show, don't just tell.
- Add social links — Link your Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or other platforms.
- Keep it updated — Add events, update your bio, refresh your gallery.
- Download your Marketing Pack — Print QR codes, share on social media, spread the word.
